Leadership

SAAIR 
I served as the elected president of the Southern African Association for Institutional Research (SAAIR) from 2019-2021. SAAIR includes members from all Public Higher Education Institutions, some Private Higher Education Institutions, DHET, SAQA, CHE and Umalusi. The election as president by my peers speaks to my standing in the institutional research fraternity.

Leadership at UWC
I regularly interact with Deputy Vice-Chancellors, top Executives, Deans and various project coordinators. My role serves multiple functions; providing intelligence, developing the Business Intelligence project as HDI grant 14, as well as in establishing data quality and governance in automating systems and increasing cross-functional collaboration. 

I am a current member of the UWC Senate. I represent the University of the Western Cape in the Joint Task Team between the Western Cape Government and the Cape Higher Education Consortium. Some of the strategic projects I have been involved in include:

  • Development of the IOP 2020-2025

  • Council for Higher Education Audit 2022
